Dennis Carlson....Bass Guitar
Dennis was born in Jersey City and moved to Bogata, NJ at an early age. He learned to play the banjo in grammer school, then guitar and bass in high school. He joined a rock band in high school and played at school dances and college parties around North Jersey. The band backed the MelloKings(Tonite Tonite) at a local club when they were sixteen years old. After graduating Bogata High School in 1967, Dennis joined the Army and in 1968 was a helicopter door gunner in Vietnam. After his service he went to college on the
GI bill and majored in music. His college experience led him to play in Big Band Orchestras for 30 years and still gets a call to do that. Having older siblings, Dennis was exposed to good some rock and roll.and jumped at the chance to join Reminisce. He has been with the band since 2007. Dennis lives in Mahwah NJ. He is the father of two beautiful daughters, and is now the owner of Carlson Woodworking.
