Bill Ferrazzano A.K.A.-----The Bopper...Bass Bill

I was born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey. I attended Eastside High School and started singing with six other guys. We called ourselves the "E.H.S. Students."

When I graduated, I joined the U.S. Airforce and became a Jet Engine Mechanic working on C-130E aircraft. I did a seventeen month tour in Viet-Nam with 24 missions in a combat zone. I was promoted to Crew Chief while serving in Nam.

I returned to North Carolina and sang with a group called "The Spontanes" from Charlotte,N.C. I started singing with a Barbershop Chorus and that taught me quite a bit about harmony, accuracy, and blend. It also taught me how to make a chord sound full. When I left the service, I played drums and was contacted by an agent for Ronni Milsap. Since I had played drums,I looked into this opportunity. I filled in for his drummer while he was recuperating from an auto accident. After that I played for Lou Caddy Panics. We toured all through the states. Our base was the "Playpen Lounge" in Sayerville, New Jersey. We also spent four years on a Reno-Vegas-Tahoe circuit.I stayed with this group for ten years. After that, I started a Barbershop Quartet and worked at the Pegasus Restaurant at the Meadowlands Race track in Jersey. That group competed in district contests and placed third with a bronze medal. There were twenty-seven other groups involved in this competition.

I then started singing with a Doo-Wop Group called "Magic Moments." At this time, I was approached by Dell,(he knew me through Lou Caddy and the Panics.) We had been working in the same circuit. Dell and I sang together with other singers and muscians. I love to sing harmony and I am glad that he asked me to join the group. I enjoy singing with them and will sing any part to make the group sound better.
